July 12, 2005 Dear fellow railroad enthusiast, I have decided to retire my railroad frequency Web site, effective today. Given other demands on my time, I don't feel I should offer such an Internet resource if I can not do it justice by keeping it up to date. The fact that the page has not been updated since 1997 — some eight years ago — is a good sign that it's time to throw in the towel. I want to thank all of you for your support over the last decade or so, particularly those of you who contributed frequency information to share with the community. Your willingness to share is much appreciated by me and, I'm sure, by the many who have used this site over the years. For the time being, I am keeping the data available via the link below, which will redirect the interested viewer to the final archive of frequency data. Please note that I am unable to answer inquiries about the frequencies on the list (or about those which are missing).
I hope and trust that you will find more actively-maintained sites with frequency information elsewhere on the Internet. My sincere best wishes for happy and safe railfanning. Click here to visit the final update of the frequency list. |
